The Planning Problem

Your athlete's week is already packed.
The off-field training plan is the missing piece.

Most baseball and softball families have the commitment part figured out. Practices. Games. Lessons. Travel. What they don't have is a clear answer to the question that comes up every week:

What should my athlete actually do on the days they're not at the field?

Without a plan, the options look like this:

  • A generic PDF program that doesn't know their schedule, equipment, or where they are in the season
  • Random YouTube workouts stitched together session by session
  • Whatever the team conditioning program happens to prescribe โ€” if there is one
  • A local S&C facility at $120โ€“250+/month โ€” a great option when you have the right coach and can make the schedule work consistently
  • Nothing โ€” which is what most families end up doing, not because they don't care, but because the planning burden is real
ByldrIQ removes the planning burden. You answer a few questions about the athlete. ByldrIQ builds the plan. The athlete opens NEXT WORKOUT and trains what's in front of them.
How It Works

ByldrIQ builds the plan from the athlete's actual situation.

Not a static template or one-size-fits-all PDF. The plan is built from six inputs that determine what the athlete should train, how long, and with what equipment.

Season Phase
Off-season, pre-season, in-season, or post-season โ€” sets the training priority and overall volume
Throwing / Team Workload
Light, moderate, or heavy โ€” adjusts the training dose so off-field work doesn't compound game-week fatigue
Experience Level
Beginner, intermediate, or advanced โ€” determines exercise complexity and appropriate training dose
Available Training Days
2, 3, or 4 days per week โ€” the plan is built around the days they actually have
Session Time
Choose Up to 30 min, Up to 45 min, Up to 60 min, or 60+ for an extended session. The selected time is a hard ceiling โ€” ByldrIQ aims to use most of the window without adding junk volume. Some sessions may appropriately finish earlier when the programmed dose is complete.
Available Equipment
Select what you actually have โ€” bands, dumbbells, barbell/rack, bench, cable, pull-up bar, and other supported equipment. Only exercises that match your setup are selected.

Two athletes. Same sport. Very different plans.

Athlete A
  • Off-season
  • Intermediate
  • Up to 45 minutes
  • Full gym / broad equipment access
  • Light team workload
Result: Fuller development dose, greater training volume, and more complete strength work for the off-season.
Sample plan output โ€” full workout card visible inside the product after purchase
Athlete B
  • In-season
  • Beginner
  • Up to 30 minutes
  • Dumbbells + bands
  • Heavy team workload
Result: Reduced gym dose, lower overall training stress, and equipment-matched exercise selection for an already-loaded in-season week.

When circumstances change โ€” the season starts, a tournament week hits, the schedule shifts โ€” update the inputs and rebuild. The plan adjusts immediately.

What a ByldrIQ Workout Includes

Every workout is structured โ€” not random.

ByldrIQ organizes each session around four components, selected and timed to fit the athlete's inputs. Sets, reps, and rest are prescribed. Nothing is left to guess, and the session stays within the time window you selected.

1
Movement Prep
Activates the key movement patterns the session will demand. Prepares the athlete to train โ€” not just warm up.
2
Athletic Movement / Power
Speed, power, and agility work appropriate to the athlete's phase and experience โ€” done while the nervous system is fresh.
3
Strength Training
The core training block. Exercises are selected for the athlete's experience level, available equipment, and session time ceiling. Sets, reps, and rest periods are prescribed โ€” nothing is left to guess. Where appropriate, primary loaded lifts include specific build-up preparation before the working sets.
4
Mobility & Stability Reset
Targeted mobility and stability work built into the session โ€” not bolted on as an afterthought or skipped because time ran out.
The Methodology

Built from years of coaching and youth strength-performance principles.

ByldrIQ's programming logic is built on years of baseball and softball coaching, youth conditioning work, and evidence-informed S&C principles. Youth S&C guidance emphasizes individualized, developmentally appropriate programming. ByldrIQ applies that principle within the inputs it actually uses โ€” training experience, season phase, workload, available training days, session time, and equipment.

20,000+ coaches and parents have trusted Joey Myers' programming principles.

Who It's For

ByldrIQ is built for committed baseball and softball families.

ByldrIQ is a good fit ifโ€ฆ

  • Your athlete plays organized baseball or softball (youth through college)
  • They train on their own between practices and games โ€” or you want them to start
  • You don't have consistent access to a great individualized S&C coach
  • You want a structured plan, not random workouts to figure out yourself
  • You want the plan to fit the schedule and equipment you actually have
  • You want to be able to update the plan when the season or schedule changes
  • The athlete is a pitcher, position player, catcher, or softball athlete

ByldrIQ is not the right fit ifโ€ฆ

  • You're looking for swing coaching or hitting instruction
  • You're looking for pitching mechanics coaching
  • You need medical, rehab, or return-to-play guidance
  • You want a human coach to observe, adjust, and communicate in real time
  • You already have an excellent individualized S&C coach your athlete works with consistently
For pitchers: VeloRESET works alongside ByldrIQ. VeloRESET is a separate readiness, workload, and recovery check-in for pitchers โ€” it provides additional context around throwing workload. It is a companion product, not built into ByldrIQ. VeloRESET is not medical guidance, rehab, or a return-to-play tool.

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

What age athlete is ByldrIQ built for?
ByldrIQ is designed for youth through college-age baseball and softball athletes โ€” pitchers, position players, catchers, and softball athletes. The programming adjusts to experience level (beginner, intermediate, or advanced) so the plan is appropriate for where the athlete actually is. Younger athletes should train under appropriate adult supervision. Adult athletes (18 and older) can purchase and manage their own account independently.
We don't have a full gym. Can ByldrIQ still work for us?
Yes. You select what you actually have โ€” bands, dumbbells, barbell and rack, bench, cable, pull-up bar, and other supported equipment โ€” and all exercise selection is filtered to match. You won't be assigned a barbell squat if you don't have a barbell. ByldrIQ filters exercise selection to the supported equipment options you select, so the programmed exercises match the setup you told it you have.
My athlete is already doing team conditioning. Is there a conflict?
That's exactly what the throwing and team workload input is for. If they have heavy team conditioning, ByldrIQ adjusts the training dose โ€” reducing gym volume and overall training stress so the off-field work complements what they're doing, not competes with it.
What if the season starts mid-plan or the schedule changes?
Use Update My Plan. Change the season phase, workload, training days, session time, or equipment โ€” and ByldrIQ rebuilds the plan immediately. You don't have to wait for a 4-week block to finish before adjusting.
Does the session really fit inside the time I choose?
Yes. The selected time is a hard ceiling โ€” the programmed session will not exceed it. ByldrIQ aims to use most of the selected window with useful work, without adding junk volume just to fill time. Some sessions may appropriately finish earlier when the programmed dose is complete. The 60+ option uses ByldrIQ's defined extended-session limit.
Will I be automatically charged after 30 days?
No. The $97 purchase is a one-time payment โ€” it does not automatically enroll you in any subscription. Nothing is charged after the first 30 days unless you explicitly choose to continue. If you continue, that is a separate monthly subscription at $37/month that renews each month until you cancel. If you stop, access ends โ€” no charge.
Does ByldrIQ show how to do the exercises?
Yes. Each exercise in the workout includes a Watch Demo link โ€” an external YouTube demo that shows how the movement is performed. These are movement references, not embedded video. Watch Demo links are not a substitute for in-person coaching or technique instruction.
Can I print the workouts?
Yes. ByldrIQ includes a Print / Save PDF option for individual workouts or the full 4-week training plan. Use it to train offline, at a facility, or anywhere you prefer not to pull up the browser during the session.
Does my ByldrIQ plan sync across devices?
Not currently. ByldrIQ uses browser and device storage, so your plan is available on the browser and device you used to set it up. To access it on a different device, use the same browser and device you originally used, or use Print / Save PDF to export the plan and access it anywhere.
How is this different from a generic workout PDF or YouTube program?
A PDF gives every athlete the same plan regardless of their season, schedule, equipment, or experience level. ByldrIQ builds the plan from the athlete's actual inputs โ€” and rebuilds it when anything changes. The result is a plan that actually fits, rather than one you have to adapt yourself every week.

You don't have to figure out what they should do next.

Answer a few questions. ByldrIQ builds the plan. The athlete opens NEXT WORKOUT and trains what's in front of them. When life changes, update the inputs and rebuild.
